Charging at home. Safely connected, neatly finished.
Our own electricians install your charge point on its own circuit, with the right protection and smart load balancing. Put together what you need below.
From configuring to your first full battery in four steps.
We handle the technology behind the socket: consumer unit, RCBO, cable route, notification to the grid operator and the handover with a test report.

{{ st.hint }}The difference is in the meter cupboard.
With a charge point, the craftsmanship is in the circuit, the protection and the cable route. We do it so that you won’t need to give it a second thought for years.
- Certified electrical workTo NEN 1010, with a type A or B RCBO where needed and a test report at handover.
- Load balancingThe charger adjusts its power to the consumption in your home. That way you avoid overloading your connection.
- Also for businesses and owners’ associationsMultiple charge points, charge cards and billing per user. We advise on the connection and on schemes.
Questions we often get asked.
Do I need an upgraded grid connection?
Usually not. With load balancing, the charger charges within the capacity your connection has left. With a single-phase connection and high consumption we sometimes advise three-phase; we discuss that at the site visit.
How long does installation take?
A standard installation takes half a day to a day, depending on the cable route and the condition of the consumer unit.
Can I claim charging costs from my employer?
Yes. With a charger that has a MID-certified meter and a charge card or app, you can read the usage per session.
Is there a subsidy?
For private individuals there is currently no national subsidy for charge points; for businesses the MIA/Vamil tax schemes may apply. See subsidies & tax.
